Torn Border

Battling through the rain….

Despite the continued rain we seem to be having here in Bardney Dairies, it has been a busy few weeks on the farm. The men have been ensuring all the machinery is fit for purpose and ready for the season ahead, including the forage harvester having its annual overhaul and the grass drier getting its paint touched up, as well as all the other mechanical and maintenance tasks that happen during the winter months.
The team have got together to make a plans for the upcoming events season, reviewing shows and assessing the opportunities available for the next few months, team meetings generally revolve around lots of biscuits and or cake being consumed while drinking the coffee machine dry, this seems to be the recipe for getting the job done in the Emerald Green Feeds office. It must work because we have a full events calendar and lots of exciting things happening in the not too distant future.
Watch out for our new packaging rolling out into stores, even if we do say so ourselves, it looks great. The designs are inspired by the beautiful scenery we have here in the heart of rural Lincolnshire. We are incredibly lucky to live and work in such a wonderfully diverse area of the UK.
