I have a livery of 30 horses ranging from native breeds to ponies to advanced dressage and eventing horses. All are fed on EGF with added micronised linseed where needed. All are in fabulous condition and I have found their temperaments are stable on this regime. The competition horses have plenty of energy and stamina to do their jobs successfully, and the hacking horses are sane and sensible for their owners to enjoy them.
In the present climate we are bombarded with so many technical feeds that all promise to keep our horse’s digestive system comfortable and healthy. Surely, simple and basic is the most palatable for our equines. Emerald Green Feeds, being a completely grass and alfalfa based feed, is therefore very gut-friendly for all horses and ponies.
Encouraging youngsters to mature with a healthy, strong body, without over-feeding and causing joint, growth and gut issues can be a huge headache for breeders. Young stock should be encouraged to grow slowly to avoid skeletal, tendon and ligament issues.
I would recommend this feed to all horse owners . It may look very simple, but it certainly keeps my horses healthy and happy.
