Emerald Green Feeds welcomes a new ambassador!

We're delighted to announce we have a new ambassador for Emerald Green Feeds! Please say hello to Bomber, the Shire horse! Bomber is a local lad to EGF. He's 8 years old and 18.1hh and by the time he finishes growing, he'll weigh just shy of a tonne!
Together with his owners Jon and Eve, Bomber visits 1940's events to educate visitors about the essential work carried out by Shire horses on farms and in forests during the Second World War. John and Eve are history enthusiasts and keen to make the public aware of just how rare Shire Horses are, with only as few as around 1800 registered Shires recorded in the world. This number means they're actually more rare than the Giant Panda and earns the Shire Horse a place on the endangered breeds list!
Bomber is known for his cheeky character and he adores his role meeting people, even tolerating loud bangs as re-enactments take place. He loves his Emerald Green Feeds 'fuel' and keeps history alive by chain harrowing and logging on his home farm from time to time.
We look forward to sharing in your adventures Bomber! Follow Bomber and check out his ‘baby photos’ on Facebook @Bomber's Mission
